Family newborn session.

In home newborn photos can still be classic and beautiful. I have captured countless photos for beautiful families soon after they meet their new baby. I can’t tell you how joyful this “job” is. As a mom of 4, who knows that 4 is our complete family, I get my baby fix when I get to snuggle with these sweet babies. This particular family newborn session I loved so much, because I captured both of big brothers newborn photos when they were born. It’s so fun to come full circle in this family and capture their new baby sisters newborn photos. The oldest brother was so in love and couldn’t get enough of baby girl. Isn’t it the best watching older siblings do their thing and become little care takers of the newest baby.

daddy’s girl

I have watched this wonderful Dad become a dad with this first little boy, followed by his second little boy and finally his first baby girl. Doesn’t it just melt your heart to see loving Dad’s with their baby girls. You know that this sweet baby girl already has Daddy wrapped around her little finger. The way he held her, talked to her, stroked her hair and just stared at at her in absolute adoration is the best way to sum up our time together. My husband was deployed when we welcome our fourth baby, our little girl, he missed the first 9 months of her life, and I hate that I don’t have similar photos of him with her at this stage.

timeless newborn photos

Although at my in home newborn sessions you won’t see any babies in baskets or any big props. I like to focus on the classic, timeless photos. That doesn’t mean that you won’t get beautiful photos of just your baby. I like to do simple set ups with baby laying on the bed (or in a chair, in their crib, etc) where we can really still focus on how tiny they are and all their beautiful details that make up their perfection.
