the power of love

Meet the newest baby.

It’s the day you’ve been dreaming about since the moment you first saw those 2 pink lines. You have been dreaming about the day your child will meet the newest baby. How will they react? Will they immediately want to hold your sweet baby? No matter their reaction, it is one of those life moments you will never want to forget. As a Colorado Springs newborn photographer I have had the opportunity to witness and capture many siblings meeting their new babies. It is priceless. A moment you won’t regret investing in to be captured.

snuggling new baby

During this meeting at Memorial North Hospital in Colorado Springs, big sister was so excited to meet her baby brother. She had been talking about him for months. During our time together for her mama’s maternity session she kept referring to her new baby as her boyfriend. It was the cutest. I made sure to arrive to the hospital ahead of big sister so I could get ready for her to walk in the door. It is also a good opportunity to catch mama with her newest baby alone before her other kiddos come in.

big sister full of smiles

The door swung open and immediately big sister was full of smiles. She was so thrilled to see her new baby in the arms of her mama. Mama had the biggest smile, Daddy was so proud, and I had to try and keep the tears from flowing. It was such a beautiful moment and brought back so many memories of my older children meeting “their” new baby. As a Colorado Springs newborn photographer I think that newborn photos in home are a need. You won’t want to forget those memories, but I also think there is something really special about investing in professional hospital photos of baby too. Its amazing how quickly they change in those first few days.

Add a film to your fresh 48 session.
